This is my 1979 xs that i am currently building and actually working on the brake system as we speak. I would love to add this kit to the bike. I plan on having the bike completed by june of next year. Thank for the awesome oppourtunity.:thumbsup:
That's kinda what i thought, I will basically be bar hopping and occasional trips. Would you know of any velocity stack that will fit my carbs. What about jetting with the stacks, are they alot more tempermental compared to the pods.
Im building a 79 xs650, from what i have read the carbs are bs38's. What i would like to know is what pod filters or velocity stacks will fit my bike. I have tried searching but i havent had much luck. I would like to know the pros and cons to each [besides the pod being a better filtered...
Hairspray, or spray glue. You dont need much of either. Spray paint can make a slight mess that is not needed, compressed air is good but with the hairspray or glue you will be able to rotate and work the grip on to where you want it very easily. Also poke a spall hole in the end of the grip to...

I had a vision in my head of what i was aiming to do. It just so happens one of my buddies told me about this bike and its almost the look im goin for. The seat will be pretty similar. The pipes will be wrapped and i will insulate the bottom of the tank and the seat. We will seat how hot it is...
