I was inspecting the tensioner and lost the little washer like piece, (number 15 in the diagram) is this piece needed, or can it be omitted, and if not where can I find a replacement?

thanks for the input so far, i plan on addong a hoop above teh swingarm, and possibly one under, and boxing them. if so then i was thinking about the shocks off a rebel, at least it would give me a little suspension. just waant it to smooth it out a bit, not make it the smoothest thing on teh...

im working on making my 81 hardtail with about a 10" stretch, back into a softtail. my main question is at what angle is the shock too steep or too flat, and how far from the axle is safe to mount the swingarm? Ive seen bikes with alloy swingarms, with the shock allthe way to he front of the...

wheteher i believe or not isnt the issue, my fiance got me one, and after putting it on te bike, knock on wood, i havent had any more problems. actually rides bewtter, and runs smoother as soon as i put it on.... not just superstitious, just a cold fact.......
