thanks, i totally forgot about the brake and caliper. is there any one making extended 34mm fork tubes out there?

im looking to put extended fork tubes on my bike, however i have a 76 so im stuck with the 34mm fork and all the exended tubeson xs650 direct are 34mm.. is there anyreason i cant find a newer fork and stick it on my bike, then get new tubes to go with the new lowers and trees?

made my self some new bars this weekend, pretty stoked how they turned out. bent up some 1" tubing to what i thought would be a good start, then i used some 1/2 inch threaded rod connectors instead of drilling out bungs and tapping them my self, they were just a tiny bit too big so i...

anyone have some pics of some xs's with extended fork tubes with stock rake? i'm thinking of ordering some but would like to see how the bike sits with the longer front end.

been a good week for mail this last week, the new tank showed up, looks pretty awesome on the bike i need to make up some bungs next week and get it mounted for real and not just zip-tied to the frame. also my welder showed up, an everlast powerarc 160 haven't had too much of a chance to use...

managed to get a little bit of work in today, made up new kick pedal to replace the stock one with some left over grating at work.. not 100% sure if im going to use it or not yet, but it was free and turned out alright so far. my i had a couple extra hands for a bit today so i used my chance...

so i've been searching around, and cant seem to find any canadian stores that offer builder kits with 1.5" mandrel bends, found lots online, columbia river has a kit that works out to 69 bucks... it's 65 to ship it, the tc bros one is 79 bones, and that one is 60 bucks to ship it is there...
