I had the noisy valve problem too. It turned out the the end of my intake valve had worn out and became concave. Even though the feeler gauge showed a good adjusment it didn't take the inset into account.
Here is my entry. It's an 81' XS with a hand made hard tail. 180 rear tire and a pamco ignition. In the last year I've put a couple thousand miles on it and have come to realize front brakes might be nice!
Hey I would love some new pipes for my bike. My current set of pipes are cool looking, but they run along the seat and I keep burning myself. Its to the point that I wish I had some hair left on my legs! Thanks, Ryan :shrug:
