If i put the bike in gear lever pulled in and rock it the rear tire moves but it is real tuff. I dont know if the oil needs to warm up first. i am using 20w-50. Is that too thick? my outsie temp right now is around 45-50. would 10w-40 work?

So i just got the bike running, it hasn't been started since 98' I took it out for a run up the street and now it seems like the clutch is frozen. I start it and as soon as i put it in gear it bucks and dies. Any thoughts on what it is?? I put new oil in before i started it. 81 xs650...

IT RUNS!!!it was a cracked seal on the boot causing a vacuum leak. Got some cork make a seal and it did the trick. Thanks for everyones input! Posted via Mobile

I have one of these and love it. much easier working on the bike when it is in the air rather than on the ground. It can hold a harley davidson ultra with no problem.

I have a xs650 special bobber. Open pipes, open carbs with uni filters. My issue is when i start the bike on full choke its fine. lower it down to half choke and you can hear the left cylinder cut in and out. no choke and it is really hit and miss. what can i look for to correct this problem...
