My Black one arrived yesterday, I do however have a problem with it. It looks so nice that I'm now going to have to make the rest of the engine look just as good, many more dollars spent :doh:

The one from 650 Central fits on the side of the motor, replacing the filter screen in the side cover. While the one from Smedspeed fits a modified sump plate underneath the engine. Hope I've explained it well enough.
I would like to install a spin-on oil filter on my 77 XS650, came across 2 options I like the look of. But does one location work better than the other ?

After browsing the forum I see that there's quite a lot of sub standard aftermarket parts out there, starting to figure out who makes the good stuff. :thumbsup:

I was going to try the KEDO Flat Ball Valve Adjusters, but they wanted $55 for a set of two, so I'll see how these work out.
I'm sure someone's come across this before, but if not here's a set up for replacing engine seals without splitting the case's. $172.00 in US dollars.
