I have had a passion for motorcycles for over 35 years, and my wife and I enjoy all types of riding from day trips to weeklong adventures. I personaly use the XS for around town riding and short solo rides less than a day. It is enjoyable for these rides because of its lightweight easy handling nature, and fun (aftermarket) exhaust note.

- My first bike (since departed drats!) was a Yamaha RD400. What fun! I put clubman bars and 1/4 fairing on it + blacked out the wheels. Since then I curently stable an 83 BMW R100RS (bought new), a recently acquired BMW R100 T with RS fairing, a 71 Norton 750 Roadster (which I dis-assembled and restored) and currently 4 Yamaha XS650s...78 parts bike, 2-81's, one that runs, and one that will run, and a '79 runner. Potentialy, a nice stocker, a street tracker, and a Cafe' Racer.
