Might try that eventually. I assume i’d have to take all the wires out? I guess I could make sure everything works before I tear it all apart and then while I’m painting the tank and side panels I could do that too

i had to pull these connectors from the back but after a few minutes of digging through the other wires i finally got them. Just gotta wait for my blinkers to get here and then i’ll see if they work

Yes seeing this after I just figured it out. The problem on mine was the 4 way connectors were all the way in the back in the middle of all the other wires. Great picture though it’s hugely appreciated

Okay yeah I’ve seen those but I figured they were just ground points. I guess my wires are really faded too cause on my bike they just look black/grey

Okay I appreciate it. I’ve found some ground wires that are open so I assumed that’s for the turn signal, just couldn’t find an open end on the chocolate or green wires for them to plug into

Got my 77 to fire off on starter fluid, just need to wait for new petcocks to come in. Planning on doing turn signals until then. I’ve looked at some wiring diagrams online and looked at the bike and i can see where the rear turn signals plug in, but I can’t find where the front ones plug in. I...

I’ll give that a look thanks. The tank was pretty corroded so I’m hoping the petcocks aren’t. Then it’s just turn lights once it’s running and it should be street legal

Yeah i’ll probably end up doing that. Then get a rebuild kit or new petcocks depending on how bad they are

Vice grips aren’t working because the screws are rounded and they just slide off. Guess i’m drilling them out

Yeah I’m planning on getting new petcocks or rebuilding these and of course new screws. Just wanna start it up and make sure it’s the petcocks and not anything else

Okay I’ll try this. Petcock has on/off/res switches. Nothing will come through on any of them. I wasn’t able to get the screws out cause they’re stripped but after pulling the plate on the back there was some junk in there. Just gotta figure out how to get the stripped screws out
