    Simple hook up on my '75: Remove the old Flasher Relay, connect the Red wire from the Electronic Relay to the Solid Brown, the Black wire to the Brown/White (disregard all else).     once bike is warm rpms wont come down

    I had the same problem and checked everything mentioned above, then concluded/replaced the advance springs. It only hovers now (2000-2800) when I've been stuck in traffic too long and figure the excessive heat might be expanding the advance springs a bit. If I'm figuring wrong let me know lol...

    Just received my "Blemished" Tank and am surprisingly pleased! Minor scuffs just in front of the bung, should buff out easily. Came with cap/keys (have not installed anything yet) and a bonus not mentioned: 2 gold "Yamaha" decals to put below the stripe! Considering what I've seen used tanks...
