fuel T anyone ever use this one

I bought this part because the mikesxs one leaking like crazy. This one is far superior and fits excellent with absolutely no leaks. I highly recommend anyone with bs34 carbs to purchase this. It is precision fit.

    Grounds so important

PM me your address and I will send you one. Its not the riding in the rain part lol. Its the ride after the rain, when your tires throw it all over the bike without adequate fenders.

    Grounds so important

They don't seal from water or the elements. The case splits apart in the middle and is held together by two end caps. I used one originally on my build and water intrusion occurred and killed my e-advancer. Drilling them can be a pain too due to the case separation is right in the center. A...

    Grounds so important

Why don't people use the engine as the main ground point. It would seriously eliminate trouble shooting the frame as the common ground point. ***those project boxes above are junk and don't seal properly*** a better option to an electronics project box would be a Hammond 1590p1

    interesting find inside bs34 carb

I just had this issue. Turns out I replaced everything in the carb just for basic maintenance but neglected to clean the body where the old O-ring for the carb seat was. I adjusted the floats so many times to keep it from leaking till I completely disassembled the carb and found a very small...

Warning: had 2 defective MikesXS advance rods.

Not to revive a dead thead but same thing just happened with mine. It was torqued to specs as the instructions say. I thought everything was good. My bike started first kick with no issues. After warming up I did the usual with adjusting the ignition and carbs. About 6 minutes into it the nut...

    5th gear overdrive install

I had no choice but to do my 5th gear overdrive because of my rear wheel selection. Im using a cbr250r rear wheel which uses a cushdrive and the smallest rear sprocket I could get was a 36. I had to opt for the 18 tooth front which is offset as well. Even with that done the ratio still wasn't...

    5th gear overdrive install

This happened to me as well. Dealing with mikesxs can be a pain. I went off what their listing says about the years and which one you need to get. Turns out you should just mic it first to see which one you will need. I bought the 78-84 gear cause mine is a 1980, but it ended up taking the 73-77...

    Trans Am Trail Bike Build.

I've been really busy lately and haven't had time to update this at all. Since my last post I have rebuilt the motor, added 5th gear overdrive, new wiseco pistons, all new oem internal stuff, pamco, pma, hhb pipes, blah blah, powder coated the frame and wheels and did a quick assembly to make...

    Trans Am Trail Bike Build.

Well fabrication has been completed and now all I have to do is get everything powder coated, upholstered, and painted. Now I'm in the process of pulling the motor apart to reseal it and for paint. Here is how it sits with the new Works Performance Street Tracker shocks.
