Thanks! I will stick to my 77 frame without registration and have it officially registrated again. The 79 se frame has all papers so this would save checks and paperwork. I prefer to keep the bike original and without welding on the frame, although it is not for major items. Bert

Dears, Are there any more differences in frames apart from the rear shock mounting points and some minor changes in geometry? In other words: can I build my ‘77 parts on a ‘79 se frame? Bert

Dears, Currently I am sandblasting the two airfilter housings. I noticed both breather connections are cut of and the remaining parts into the housings are closed. As my bike will be the subject of an official check, to get a licence plate again, I intend to make some kind of engine breating...
