Looks good Kush! I think you bought your bike from my brother, Kevin. If so, you picked it up at my house in Aurora back in January-ish. Am I correct? ~Stan

My bike is almost complete! So I'll be down for a ride in the next few weeks. ~Kushlife = Did you buy your bike from my brother Kevin back in January? I think it was you, you came down to my house in Aurora, with your wife/gf. It was an 83 heritage.

Rebel petcock wouldn't clear the intake so I replaced it with low-pro style. Drag Pipes Wrapped. Tank will be re-painted with gloss black and white stripe.

Time for updated pics.... Basically didn't touch the bike all winter and then picked it back up a few months ago. Bike is running now. Took it for a 20 mile ride 2 weeks ago. Then I was able to score some white-walls, sprockets, and I decided to polish the forks. Not finished yet but close. New...

    DIY Drag Pipes

Yeah, it's a bit tricky. I cut short of what I want and then take them to the bench grinder. If you stand the pipe up on the slash cut, you'll see where you need to trim it down. Worked for me. Hope this helps.

You should just ask joewiseguy...... I purchased one of his intakes and he's been more than helpful with questions about the carb setup. I'm sure he'd be glad to help.

    DIY Drag Pipes

I haven't ran the bike yet with them so I don't know. It's not for sound dampening as much. You can google or search the forum for more info........here's one link http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/exhaust.htm

I installed mine about 3/4" before the bevel of where it transitions from 1-3/4" to the smaller I.D.

    My 81' "Bratt" build

They're bright as F*CK too! I go them from Radiantz.com with a dual element circuit which reduces the brightness for tail and full power for stop. $58 shipped so not bad. They're just under 4 inches in length. Very narrow too.
