Just got the correct keepers today. Mikes sent them out no charge and paid the postage. The irritating part is that Yamaha found it necessary to use, at least, three different keepers for what is basically the same engine. The keepers that are in my engine aren't even listed for a 79 Special but...

I sent Mikes pictures of my keepers. Just got a message from them saying that they have put the correct keepers in the mail. No invoice no charge. Pretty decent of them. Finger crossed.

Two orders from Mikes for valve keepers for one valve including the last order of 01-9071 that are called for a 79 model engine. Each order has been, give or take $15.00. So a total of $30.00, half of which is freight and this is how they fit.

Ok finally got some accurate info. They are looking for a TT-R 250 they would also be interested in YZ-100 or 125.
