    tc bros axle spacer...

hi Fred, so nice to see you here, by the way. I will do exactly that. Buy some fat threaded rod and some nuts and I believe I already do have the washers/spacers. It made me nervous thinking of making the frame conform to the space, by spreading it. But I will try it after all. Will report...

    tc bros axle spacer...

hi, am reading through a bunch of the threads about axle spacing. With engine in frame, and having .25 inch axle plates, awhile back I'd added Travis's super-spiffy spacer plates outside the frame's axle plates. That left the interior, side to side measurement a bit wide compared to the 8 1/2"...

    1500 mile trip

Anybody know of a roadside assistance program that will tow a bike with modified frame? (aka, hardtailed) I was already told "no" by Dairyland. I wouldn't mind joining the AMA again. Anyone know if they will cover a "modded" bike? thx.

    some wiring diagrams

I guess those factors will be the things that make you need to run it one way or the other. I recently decided to go back to the stock type right hand bar housing with starter button and kill/run switch incorporated into it. Still need to figure out where I'm mounting key. But anyway, in case...

Show off inside your eletrical boxes

ok who was that pervert that wanted to see inside peoples' electrical boxes? ;) Well, here's mine at the moment. Still figuring it out. But basically it will contain Shorai batt, ignitor unit - and the starter solenoid gets mounted on the roof of it, like some weird little bug. Still haven't...

    in line fuse types

well the one I want to possibly use is the 2nd type: "Inline Fuse Holders for Glass-Tube and Ceramic-Tube Fuses". I have several of the 3rd type hanging around I could use (mini or maxi) but those are bulkier for the tight area in my battery box. Battery + terminal gets 3 things running to...
