sounds more like in the case. when it happens I release the throttle quickly and it goes away then throttle again. I have pulled grades at all rpm's and gears and no noise. Possibly in the clutch??? The sound is like the rear fender is loose hitting the frame, but it's not.

any ideas why my bike would have an intermittent rattle noise except when pulling grades or hills? Adjusted clutch and cam chain tensioner. would a heavier oil help? runs great otherwise.

thanks guys, yep single downtube. the 150mph was a joke it is a stock 447. the measurements i need for top is 48,5mm od 25.5mm id. lower is 50mm od 25.5mm id the tc bearings both are 25.5 id and fit but od to small. any ideas where to get these bearings? oh yea and the pic is from my flip...
