Yes they are the standard bars. Thanks for the heads up re the brake fluid reservoir. Think it’ll make a difference? The brakes are bad enough for me to throw an anchor out. Or I’m just too used to the modern Triumph Street Triple.

High winds and heavy rain here in North Yorkshire. The bike chained to a tree outside went over, the wind having caught the cover. Thankfully she went over away from the security chain so didn’t hit the ground! Problem then was the side stand had gone up and I couldn’t unlock the chain or she'd...
My bikes sat out in the rain with cover on it. It’s been rainy for days and we’ve some localised flooding and standing water on the road. I’ve no idea how old those Avon’s (Avon - means river) are either so it’s going nowhere.

If it was me, which it aint. I think I’d start with a bike somebody had already made a mess of. Bit like buying a rescue dog. Give it another chance.
