I had a cbc700sc and it was a good bike for me. Something with a little more umph would be good. Are the 850's powerfull for their class.

Yes I understand what you are saying on the tx. I am up for lots more advice on a good solid bike platform. I like the original 350 four and how about the Yamaha triples?

Here is one. Of course I would only want one made in Japan, US, or Canada. I bought some for the wheels for a 79 mx 175 and ended up geting an indonesian pair for the front as they were out of the koyo Japan one. Paid 4.00 more each for them. Wasn't happy. Got them from B & D Drives in Atlanta...
