as an FYI... i am looking to do a project similar to this... cafe, but still kind of retro/vintage look. this guy did a great job with his... i had to study the pic forever to figure out where the battery was relocated...

had some serious shorted + fried wires throughout the harness off mikesxs so i bought a new harness and am changing/upgrading the entire electrical system. also bought new handle bar switches, a pamco ignition coil...
