    I’ve been robbed! 🤬

Hi DE, the downside will be that Finagle's Law of Dynamic Negatives will make sure that the person you execute will be an eccentric relative who wants to share his lottery winnings.

Hi Raymond, HTF can you live with no air compressor? Canadian Tire ain't an option for you but Halfords will have the affordable 8 or 10 CFM unit you need. Once you have a compressor there's all manner of air tools that it can drive. Be aware that air tool collection can become an addiction.

    Hydraulic Clutch Intrest?

Hi Xander, IMOH an XS650 hydraulic clutch conversion is an over-complicated fix. Try improving the mechanical clutch action instead. Re-bush the clutch lever, use a Teflon-lined cable and re-route the cable to have far less bends in it.

Hi Ray, while solid copper washers are a step in the right direction, copper is still kinda soft. Dowty seals are solid steel with an inner elastomeric sealing ring. Look 'em up, eh?

Hi Ray, what works better is to swap out the rubber-faced washers for Dowty seals.

    Real Estate Update

Hi Tebo, all power supply systems work most efficiently under a steady load. The bigger the system the less it likes it's load fluctuating. And the electrical grid is just about a country's biggest system. That's why Grimly's power costs less in the middle of the night. To encourage him to...

    My $Free.99 Project

Hi Wannabe, vapor blast is the perfect prep for paint because everything wants to stick onto it. Whatever gets there first stays there regardless. Even if it's road dirt.

Hi Gary Bikes are black except for Nortons which are black with silver gas tanks. If it's red it's a firetruck.

    Homemade and Unique Tools

Hi Dogbunny, dunno what your widget was meant to do but the similar one I made was a dipstick for checking my XS11's oil level. ( note that instead of a dipstick an XS11 has a porthole to see the oil level but you can't see the effin' thing if there's a sidecar in the way)

    Real Estate Update

Hi Pete, those sidewalk scooters ain't safe! My daughter got me one for my 83rd birthday, it's trial run made it all the way around the block before the thing flipped over backwards rather than climb up a bull-nosed sidewalk kerb.

Installing Bronze Swingarm Bushings and Setting Sideplay

Hi cra-z, The Harley shop will sell you good quality grease that's been re-packaged in Harley colours at only twice the price so you gotta balance the cost of buying the high-priced re-packaged grease while you are checking the Harley store's bargain bin against the extra cost of making a second...

    Painting Tins. No really...

Hi Pete, It's as flat as ever here and it's many a mile between each bend in the road. And it's still too effin' cold to ride. OTOH we do have a roundabout (AKA traffic circle) at the end of our street.

Hi Bunny, best check first if the plastic that the helmet is made of ain't one that goes all brittle if it's painted.

    UPS

Hi Jessee, yeah, vehicle deaths far outnumber firearm deaths. Operating 2000lbs+ of vehicle on a public highway is the most hazardous act that most people do.

Hi Raymond, I reckon that while the ex-WD WW2 Norton, BSAs & Matchless bikes were rebuilt before being re-sold into civilian use, the WDC & WDCO Royal Enfield 350cc singles were sold "as is". Thus an ex-WD Royal Enfield could be either nearly new or have survived 6 years of total war, which in...
