    powerder coating question

There is a place in Chesapeake off Bain Bridge that told me they would do it for 100 but that doesn't include prep. I don't remeber the name but you can look it up on google. Posted via Mobile

How do I set Timing?? I have a Pamco, PMA and New Carbs

I just did a ton of research on this. You will need to check your cam chain tensioner, adjust the valves, then set the timing. I'm not sure how to use the timing light with it yet but If you set your bike to TDC and then set the pamco to the spot pete recommends it should ride pretty good and...

Carb tuning and Timing with PAMCO and PMA help

Pete I just tried the method you suggested with no luck. It wouldn't even pop with the separate battery. Also the old rotor setup is long gone.

Carb tuning and Timing with PAMCO and PMA help

Pete thanks for the response. I have seen where you have suggested removing the PMA in several threads. I was going to try it but just didn't believe it was my problem cause the bike was running fine with it the other day. I also set the PAMCO to the suggested starting position on my original...

    Clutch Adjustment question, tips??

Turns out I left the little pin in the engine during the banshee swap. It was causing the banshee assembly to bind which was causing the engine to bind. Thanks for the help and trouble shooting.

    Clutch Adjustment question, tips??

Exactly. I don't understand why it's being such a pain in the ass. Correct me if I'm wrong but the gear on the clutch pack will not move unless the worm gear is adjusted correctly.. right? Could a bad worm gear assembly, clutch cable or perch assembly be the problem?

    Clutch Adjustment question, tips??

I believe the engine is a 80-81. The bike no longer has electric start. When it did have electric start it started fine same with the kick starter. I have not done anything to the inside of the engine. It was working fine before i took off the clutch cable several months ago. I will check out...

    Clutch Adjustment question, tips??

Hello I picked back up today where I left off last august or so on my xs650. I was having trouble with the kick starter not turning over the engine. I have played with the worm gear adjustment on the left side numerous times only to get it to the point where it wont kick at all or the kicker...

    Mist Cooling

Bill I may have some nozzles from the fans I was using if I can find them I'll send them to you if you want them. They are stainless with like a 1/8th outlet on one end and a outlet the size of a hair on the other. They also come apart so you can clean them out from mineral build up.

    Mist Cooling

I have had my hand in the "misting fans". The ones that I worked with used something like a 1,000 psi pump. I don't think your washer pump is going to cut it. Do you a nozzle in mind to do this? You have to form a very fine mist in order for it not to wet the surface and with the humidity we...

    Elswick

When I first put my eyes on the elswick tail I was surprised to see how the small the tubing was. I think the 1" 1/8" tubing is the way to go. Which is what the TC brahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh tail has. So that is at this point the only thing they have going for them. The elswick tail welds were nice...
