Moved in to our house in late September. I saw a few bikes that caught my attention but not much in the way of xs’s. Probably going to have to expand my search area a bit. Would love to find a project to build. I really do enjoy the building.
First things first. Gotta find a house. Right now me and the mrs are staying with our daughter in north Hampton. Nice area but a little spendy for us lol
Just relocated to “north Houston” (actually Spring) a couple weeks ago. Had to sell my bike to pay for the move but will be searching for something in the relatively near future.
There used to be quite a few of those in use by other forum members with varying rates of success. I think Hughs Handbuilt also sold that style for a while. I use a different type hydraulic clutch and truly love it. Been running the same Aprilia slave cylinder for about 8 or 9 years without...

Had a chance to do a little break in (2 heat cycles and a retorque) and go for a fairly short ride (29 miles) yesterday with the new combo. Overall it was a good ride. Motor seems to have plenty of power, I could almost keep up with my buddy on his 2005 yzf r6 and pull away from another buddy on...
Try loosening the 2 nuts on the bottom of the left fork a little before you tighten the castle nut. If those nuts are tightened before the castle nut you could be pinching the hub between the forks
