    Plattey, I have a set of stock 1978 xs650 pipes which I replaced with 1 3/4 pipes. Can you tell me how you adapted the stock torque cones to fit the 1 3/4 pipes? Thanks

    I have a 1977D xs650 points system. I purchased it as a basket with no wiring. My alternator has the normal yellow (capped), sky blue (capped), 3 white, a Red (brush),and a green (brush). I've looked at all the diagrams online and can't find any that have a red wire on the alternator. My...
