gggGary, fully understood. it was the lack of availablity of the throttle bracket that lead to this for me in the first place. i still may fab up a dozen or so of those brackets from stainless anyway (work is slow for me right now), and if they sit in my garage forever i wont cry.. eventually...
so, i went out to the shop.. would like to feel out the market for the center brace and throttle bracket in either stainless or mild steel so you could powdercoat or paint as you wish. will check during the week with a guy who water-jets some parts for me through work. if these original parts...
thanks man, the adjuster at the carbs works like a charm too. i used to wrench on bicycles alot when i was akid and figured i would use an old brake cable adjuster from my hoard of parts.
took a couple of crappy pics with my beat up phone...one of the original part and the one i quickly made. it aint pretty but no-one will see it going down the road.
