Got me a pair of lectron 34s flatslides that i did 2 immediate things...
1) polished slides to remove any remaining maching marks....Could possibly have rough action when slide is dropping causing lurch?
2) dont know if this an option, but lectron has different tension return springs...
Anyone come across a bad manual petcock (style as shown in pic)? Squeaks when turned and stiffer than same petcock on other side. Only 2 years old and used regularly (turned off when bike is off). Thanks in advance
I agree with twomany on cable are made to fit specific applications, but i did run that tcbros throttle with a stock cable to bs34s without issue.
Im sure there are differences in a your 78 cable and 38s to my 80 cable and 34s, but in my case it worked fine.
I may have that backwards, now looking at my biltwell whiskey throttle.... but you get my drift.
In theory, if cable is installed/routed wrong way... It could take up the slack that youre missing.
Are you sure cable is routed in assembly correctly?
If you are looking at end of grip, cable should wrap counter clockwise through outer hole to ferrule notch. It could possibly be routed clockwise to ferrule notch, taking up extra inch or so.
Just a guess here. Good luck
All things i will consider. Thanks
Just dont want to make same mistake i did late last summer.....
Was out riding when one of liscence plate mounts cracked. Stopped by a nearby buddys house for a quick weld. Did not take the necessary precautions and believe that killed my tci box.
Been...
Box: 50 shipped
Pickup: 20 shipped
Cant say tci box is "known good," explaining why price is so low.......
Had a mid range misfire that has since been cured with carb work, new battery and pamco (coil, wires, plugs too). Too many changes to say box was or was not at fault.
