its been sitting for quit a while but i had that problem before i let it sit.

oil level doesn't go down noticeably, float height was set at stock height also rebuilt carbs. with new float needle float and jets. left side runs like a dream.

do not over fill the oil keep it between the low and high lines on the dip stick or else you will start spraying oil out the breather.

i got the exact same problem but im smoking out of the right exhaust. My guess would be valve stem seal or head gasket. You could try a hotter spark plug to compensate for the potentially weak coil. Try B5ES's dont go on the highway with those tho, just around the city putting.

my bike was running a while with our spark in the left cylinder. which might cause gas to leak into the oil. Would that be a major factor to smoke?

My float hight should be right i had my leaky carb fixed professionally. I just started her up again and it started up nicely. No smoke for the first couple of minutes but once i rev smoke starts coming out of the right exhaust, a little at idle and then a lot under rev.

it looks white/greyish i cant really tell if its blue.

it dosn't have an ODO and i have no clue how many miles are on the motor. The right crab does leak when the gas valve is open when the engine is not running which suspects me to think that the right cylinder is running rich. would running rich blow out smoke?
