Retired, moving things and getting rid of stuff no one can use. You know we all have it should have burnt it 20-30 years ago but wait I might need to wrap something or need the part number. I have no idea. When I get cleaned out around the bike plastic side plates are gone. I wrote the serial# and called Yamaha. A very nice and helpful lady told me I had a 1980 xs650sg .Last plated in 1997.Ishot the cylinders full of kroil mixed with pb baster.Took two weeks of soaking but I got it to turn with the kickstart,free the rear brake caliper and got the trans to shift up and down can turn rear wheel by hand. Now I will soak everything in oil and what happens.
