Is it necessary to run a vacuum style petcock. Or can run just your standard brass shut off and on from you local parts store. I understand how the vacuum style works. But didn’t know if there was any disadvantage other than forgetting to shut off the ball valve type
i Just ordered some vm34 mikuni carbs. I got them from dime city. It does come with the 1 to 2 cable. I was wondering there was a way or has anybody done a single cable with a linkage( or a ball end link) to run both without the cable split.
Thanks. I did open up the the top of the carb that was leaking and ran it open with the residual fuel that was in it. It did clear up and ran fine out of both cylinders after reassembly. I’m going to switch to mikes Xs pre assembled. Any thoughts on that set up.
I went to start my bike and I turned the pet cock on to and gas starts pouring through the carb out the filter. Just one carb though. What does that mean?
Just bought a 78 bobber. Trying get wiring in order. Any diagrams out there, advice on how to store them. Currently in a leather pouch on the bars. Not gna fly. Thanks
