check plugs and wires.....I have gotten brand new bad ones..... check for intake leaks...... When is the last time you sync'd the carbs? Are the filters snug and in the right spot? Check your fuel lines for pinholes and make sure they are securely on....I am not familiar with the XS...

WOW!!!!!:yikes: It actually took a few seconds to identify what I was even looking at...... I have never seen damage like that.....even on race engines.....

That's going to look really good.......and it looked really good before..... I commend you for actually going ahead and completely redoing something that you obviously worked very hard on in the first place.....And I envy your skill:thumbsup:

I'm thinking a good carb cleaning is in order....Change or clean the fuel filter..... Check for fouled plugs....bad wires.....

Hi...New guy here from WAY Northern NY....Thinking about picking up an XS as a project for the winter and this looked like a good site..... I see from reading around the forum that you folks had a friend that liked the dots......I do too and I am not being stupid or offensive in any way...
