Best bet may be the genuine Mikuni ones listed on Heiden Tuning in Holland, an XS650 expert who ships to the UK, Ive used them loads, cost 70 euros each mind...

    Have to agree with jay760 Test it out, carefully changing into 3rd gear, if it is just like putting it into neutral, its most likely the dogs on 5th gear. I had the same problem, drain your oil & check for any dogs in the oil. Here's what I found :(

    I believe xjwmx is referring to the bolt arrowed below. Proper maintenance of your brakes should cure this problem. I have been running this rotor with a Fazer blue spot caliper & have had no problems
