Work shop is not to bad ..but don't have a sand or bead blaster considering getting 1 ...I also have fat finger and have no danger of getting them where they need to go

Wee project well on its way hoping to get cylinder honed this week before I reassemble..I'm just at the cleaning stage which is a labour of love/hate..has anyone come up with a good way to clean and polish between the fins to make it shine ...also the bike is a 79 xs650se can anyone...

Just back from a local guy that rebuilds engines of all sorts for a living ..how just grinded them back to shape ..going to lap them tonight and reinstall them ...thanks for the help

The guy I got the bike from tried to lap valves and over laped them ..Valve seats still look OK but valves have sharp edges not all the way to the top of valve just where they where laped . I think I may be able to recut the angles on a lathe ..I have a few photos just trying to...

I'm Kevin from Ireland and this is my first post ..I'm rebuilding an 1978 xs650 and need to replace the valves . I have found a complete set of valves for an xs500 would these fit my engine
