Yep, two petcocks on a replaced tank of course. Would like to know why the tank was replaced but the PO didn't know that info as well as a bunch of other things. Apparently the majority of the things that I'm finding or knew and asked about either happened before he bought it or he's lying...

Jet, aldo and nj, thanks for the tips on the filters. I'm looking for a good filter that will fit in-between my cabs that is local first before I order something. I wish there was a way to do away with one of the petcocks though. Just no way to get the fuel from the other side of the tank...

The rough running engine has been taken care of. Apparently there was some residue left in the tank from cleaning it out with the naval jelly and it was clogging the filters on the main jets. I also replaced the pilot jets with the next size up because they didn't have the size I needed. It's...

I had a serious case of rust in my tank when I bought my bike and used Napa's Naval Jelly rust removal. Worked great and it seriously didn't take much effort. Just poured the whole thing in and sloshed it around everywhere and checked it every 5 minutes. It says to empty it out after 5-10...

Couldn't find any BS34 parts on the Sudco website. 650 Central has some but I'm wondering if they are knockoffs or OEM. Hmmmm...... Thanks for the heads up, grepper. I will be calling Mike tomorrow hopefully if he is available to answer questions.

Mike's is out of the #42.5 Pilot Jet BS30/96 type which is the stock for my BS34's. What would you guys recommend in place of them and/or would you also replace other things as well if an alternate is used? Thanks.

I've got a manual coming but can anyone tell me the gap settings for this bike? Is it "0.7~0.8mm" for the plugs and "0.3~0.4mm" for the points?
