So I have a 1972 and cannot find a regulator rectifier combo for the 72 so my question is wich one/year would work on my bike if anybody can help out let me know I wanna buy one asap thanx alot guys

This should clear it up and im not trying to do a hack job lol I have the harness this is what im dealing with I just dont know where the ground and battery hook up to the rectafier its self

Oah I know that I have the plug on the end of the wires what im trying to do is attach (solder) the other end of the wires directly to the rectafier its self the rectafier has nothing hooked up to it

I made a saw blade alternator cover with a random gear and a skull and crossbones jb welded to it

Thank you for the diagram I used one to solder the 3 yellow wires to it I got that part down but the part im confused with is what side and where the red battery wire and black ground wire get soldered to the diagrams dont help with that and I cant find a picture anywhere

I have this older separate rectifier but my problem is it has no wires hooked up to it at all i have the wires i just need a image of what wire goes where so I can hook this thing up if somebody can post a pic it would be a huge help thanks
