id keep it from what i here its a back and forth argument, some people keep it off to re torque the head after a rebuild but idk if most leave it off. seems like a bad idea but im a noob.
Hey dudes im looking for a Timken bearing set up for an xs650. The steering tube in my new forks is smaller diameter than the stock xs ones. I was gonna make up the difference with a custom Timken set up. Any help would rule.

I feel like any forks can work, idk if there is a play by play to how its done. but I can't be to hard just get the steering tube length right and order some custom bearings from all balls and you should be good to go.
Yea it is high but that's the point with the frisco tanks I thought. after the forks are on.
This tank just gets cooler and cooler the more I look at it hahah I may take the channel out to get a bit more gas and put in a sight put I have no vision till the new forks and wheels are on.

Thanks man no haha it was a 70cc two stoke 4 speed I think a minarelli p4 but it was dead so I upgraded to a 2005 Derbi GPR 50cc 6speed watercooled motor.
Whats up dudes trying to find some decent photos of mid controls on rigid framed xs's. I think I have a first gen Ardcore frame. I know most mount to the two holes just behind the factory bottom motor mount but I don't have them. just looking for options and photos. worst case i'll just chop em...
