Ye your right, a steering damper. Its a bit twitchy on the front end & it doubles up as a steering lock. The frame is 76' frame but the rear & front end are 91' ZXR 400 and ahd to cut off the original steering lock

78' XS just bought but a tad smokey so now stripped down & deciding weather to go large or standard?? The other one is a 76' KH 500 two stroke I built last year

Just got a USA import XS650. Can't quite figure out the year? Engine No. 007545, any ideas?? Going to make trail type bike out of it. It smokes some what. Been reading up on them, so it looks like valve guides / seals. Compression is 130 & 135 psi so I reckon that's ok. Also the type D cam...
