Just to be clear, I am fine with the brackets being cut, just wondering if the original structural aspects of the frame have been modified (cut).

Ninskrillz, What do you mean by "the frame has been hacked brackets taken off". Has the frame actually been cut? Might be interested as long as the basic frame is still intact. Thanks,
