Haha, by "out" I meant "in". And yeah I've adjusted the idle screw but couldn't slow it down enough.

My '82 is idling a bit fast and I want to slow it down. It's sitting at around 1300-1500 according to the on board tach (which I realize isn't totally accurate, but it's noticeably fast to my ear and I'd like to slow it down to a nice low rumble). I've obviously got the choke all the way out...

I'm planning on hardtailing my '82, and was wondering if anyone has opinions on whether to get the premaid hardtail by TC Bros or G&L Choppers. Obviously the TC Bros are way more common, but for my first build I'm not looking to make something new and exciting. Is there any build quality...

I assume these are the small ports on the inside edge of the bell that the air filters slip over? I don't have much experience, so pardon the possible laymen question.

Okay, so I fixed the leaky carbs. All it was was the petcock not sitting correctly. But here is something to add to the equation that might make more sense as to some possible friendly advice: I was making a new battery mount and had to pull the air filters off to squeeze everything out...
