I dont think the soda blast will harm the seals? although I did tape off all of the rubber seals like around the kickstarter, clutch rod, shifter etc.

yeah all assembled and the oil leak was because I didn't have the drain plugs tight.

How did you regulate the temp swbill?

Hey Travis, They turned out great. Not much odor. 200 degrees isn't all that hot really. Not sure how durable it will be? Oh and I don't think I made it clear but I only was doing the calipers and some other small parts not the whole engine :yikes: Soda blasted High temp primer Caliper...

This is their caliper paint and it requires 200 degrees for 60 minutes.

Has anyone cured any of the VHT high temp paints in their oven? If so how bad is the smell? Is it going to ruin my wifes oven? She's gone for the weekend so nows my opportunity :D Thanks Bill

I'm about ready to lace up my first set of wheels. Searching on here I've found some great resources on how to do it. Some people are recommending using a thread lubricant on the spokes. This makes sense but what do you use for a lubricant, grease, oil...or does it matter? Thanks Bill
