I was going to leave the gas tank and tail the metallic silver color, but after thinking about it, it is too boring for my taste. So I created a sketch last night of the design I will overlay on top of the metallic silver.

So it's been a while since my last update, 3 months or so heh. I am just all over the place with my hobbies, but finally making time to get back to this project. I have been slowly working on the seat/tail. I finally finished building/painting the seat. I also got the rims powder coated...

So I did not end up doing as much maintenance this weekend as I had originally hoped to. I did however end up spending a lot of time on the seat. So far I have the basic seat pan done. Tomorrow I plan to pick up a cat eye tail light and incorporate it into the tail section. Here are a few pics...

Heh they really don't take much oil at all eh? I was doing research at work today and was under the impression I would need a bit more then 1 bottle. Oh well, I will have enough for one of my other bikes then.

The rims I ordered from Donny came today. (Thanks again man!) I also picked up some goodies at work today to do maintenance work on the bike this weekend. Right now I am deciding on the color theme I want to go with, I hope to get the bike to the powder coater soon.

Dave, I am putting a 19" on the back. Regarding tires, I still have not decided on that.

Not much to update currently, I have mag rims on the way which I will powder coat first before installing, I am also planning on getting a few small parts in the near future. One thing I am really curious about is changing the gauge on the bike. After doing a little research I am thinking of...

So I went through and finished cleaning/re-wraping the entire wire loom. Now I am starting to actually plan out what I want it to look like and decide what to do next. I will eventually drop the engine and get the entire frame powder coated bass boat/flake bright green.

Thanks for all of those links Skull, there is a lot of awesome info there. Yea the wiring on this bike is not too damaged, but is definitely aged. A few months back I completely re-wired my entire 900rr harness, so at least I will be more comfortable going in this time. I definitely am planning...
