    Wanted - Cylinder Head please

I stupidly took a gamble with my engine - did a top end rebuild and noticed that one of the valves had been passing, and thought the guide was a little worn, didn't have the money at the time and just stuck it back together with new seals. Trouble is, I've now finished building the bike...

Wanted - RH BS34 or pair of carbs

I've just broken one of my BS34 carbs trying to remove the seized and rounded off mixture screw. This is particuarly annoying, as I'm coming to the end of my build and am only about 2 weeks away from finishing the bike. I therefore need either one rh BS34 (opp side to throttle linkage) or...

Oil in exhaust port - one side only

Wish I could, motors are going up in price over here. Even a tatty, rusty old bike would cost about £1200 (almost $2000)

Oil in exhaust port - one side only

I'd rather do the work in the long winter months, but, If I stick the bike together now, without doing the valve...

Oil in exhaust port - one side only

Guys, I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but, if there's any alternative I'd really appreciate any help: Just about finished my XS hardtail dry build, very early on in the build I acquired an engine, po said it ran well, but you can never trust that. Anyway, I did a top end rebuild...

    head oil feed thread repair

Right, finally got this sorted with an oversize oil adaptor and the thread re-tapped, should there be a washer between the crankcase and oil adaptor? Common sense says yes, but there was not one fitted onstripdown

    head oil feed thread repair

Hello everyone, my name's Tom, I'm building a 650 bobber here in the UK and have just ran into my first problem: My newly aquired engine has a previous repair where the head oil feed screws into the lower engine case: As you can see, the repairer has used some kind of rubbery type compound...
