I've just broken one of my BS34 carbs trying to remove the seized and rounded off mixture screw. This is particuarly annoying, as I'm coming to the end of my build and am only about 2 weeks away from finishing the bike. I therefore need either one rh BS34 (opp side to throttle linkage) or...

Wish I could, motors are going up in price over here. Even a tatty, rusty old bike would cost about £1200 (almost $2000)

Think the above port picture looks especially bad as I'd only run the engine for 20 seconds or so, didn't get enough time to burn the oil out.

Well, I suppose the big question is when do I do it? By the time the bike is on the road, I'll have about 7 - 8 weeks riding weather before the bikes are off the road for the winter. I'd rather do the work in the long winter months, but, If I stick the bike together now, without doing the valve...

Right, finally got this sorted with an oversize oil adaptor and the thread re-tapped, should there be a washer between the crankcase and oil adaptor? Common sense says yes, but there was not one fitted onstripdown

Forgot you lot say Axle, Spindle is what us English call them

Anyone know or have one they could measure for me please? I need the total rear spindle length, to the nearest mm if possible. Tom
