Just got the carb issue figured out and took it for a spin. Rides AWESOME! The shock mounts were an after thought and we used slugs in the tubing to extend them to the height I wanted. I feel like the tubing with the slugs inside should be strong enough. We debated about it for a while as well...

Yeah I totally get that the radiator helps out and improves reliability and all that... Its still ugly though.

I totally agree. I liked a few Honda Shadows I've seen but the radiator up front just destroys the aesthetics...
