    Longer swing arm Handling ?????

I'm working on a cafe style build. I'm wanting to upgrade the rear swing arm to something stronger. I bought a couple of yz rear swing arms and they use the same size swing arm bolt, and if you use the stock XS thrust washers ,it will fit right in the frame. I will have to have shock mounts...

    Getting off old gaskets

There are actually gasket remover sprays out there, try napa maybe? Like above ,a heat gun works decent on most, Then one of those velcro scotch pads that fit a small drill to clean up.Paint remover works about the same as gasket spray remover. Walmart use to have an aircraft remover that...

    Does anyone make a harness

I was wondering if anyone out there makes a simplified wireing harness. That does away with all the factory garbage. I'm not much good at anything electrical, so I thought I would see if anyone has the harnes that I could purchase.I want to clean it up and do away with all the relays and grap. I...

Supermoto wheels with a YZ490 swingarm

So far I have found 38t but There was a guy on thumpertalk awhile back saying he had a 36t, but I have't found one yet, My hubs are from a CRF450, so I have to look for gears for it then run a 18t front and you will be close to stock gearing. I think the ideal rear tire size would be a 160/70/17...

Supermoto wheels with a YZ490 swingarm

Ok from what I have tried now. The YZ490 swingarm is pretty much a bolt in. You have to use the XS650 dust shields, and they are a tite fit. The only thing is it is about 3 1/2 inches longer than the xs swingarm. Not sure what this will do to handling. I tried adding pics from my Iphone, but I...

Anyone running warp 9's, KTMs, or some sort of modern MX wheels?

I have a set of supermoto wheels from a CrF450 that I'm using. You can get bearings from ALLBallsracing. They have a roller bearing chart and just look up by size you need. I started to use a ktm wheel and hub ,but I only has the rear, came accross a good deal for the CRF set.

Looking into Mini Front Drum Hub... will it fit??

Go to allballsracing.com. They have a whole list of ball bearings .They run in the 5-10 buck range. Make things alot simpler than custom making an axle. If they have the bearing to fit that is.
