For Sale - Pamco Ignition System

SOLD Used Pamco ignition, Mikes XS Part #14-0914 (less plugs, plug wires, and plug boots) Ran about 700 miles then I decided to rephase and had to replace. How does $110.00 sound? (I'll pay shipping inside US and PayPal only).

    smoke from crankcase vents

I wondered about the oil level. I filled it slam full before I started breaking it in. I'll let some out.

    smoke from crankcase vents

Wonder if all the cleaning I did is allowing oil to get by.

    smoke from crankcase vents

The temp was in the 60's and the engine was good and hot when I saw this. No noticeable amt. of smoke from the exhaust.

    smoke from crankcase vents

    smoke from crankcase vents

    smoke from crankcase vents

Have put about 50 to 75 miles on a fresh top end of a '79. Did not replace rings and never took the pistons out of the sleeves. Bike had 17,000 miles but sleeves looked very good. I'm running pod filters with Mike's XS filters on the ends of the crankcase vent tubes. Problem is I'm getting a...

    timing advance bushs

Newb here. I'm reading this thread trying to find the answer w/o asking. No luck. This is my first engine teardown on a '79, and am trying to remove the camshaft. I have removed the locknut but what in the %@&$ holds the advancer plate onto the camshaft? I've lightly tapped CCW in the hope it...
