    Con rod search

    I have an XS2 that needs new rods, as the 256 rods are almost impossible to find, I have been told that the 447 rods are the same big end but will need new matching pistons and pins - is this true.

    Hi All, I am currently rebuilding the bottom end of my 1972 650, the con rods have the 256 cast on the rod, it has roller (needle) bearing on the big end but has a 22mm piston pin at the little end with no roller(needle) bearings. All of the parts diagrams that I can find show the 1972 256 motor...
