Put everything back together, did some wet sanding and polishing on the fork lowers, engine cases and brake drum case.
I think it came out pretty good.
Yeah, the clear is a 2 stage, fully resistant to gas.

I'm happy for my first go at it. I know I can improve my process for the future.
I've just installed a new cam seal on the Rhs of the motor, and fired it up for the first time. Thing just started gushing oil out.
I bought the superceded part # from a Yamaha dealer in town.
Maybe I didn't install it correctly, so I'll have to check again and see.

ha, thanks. The thick scallop I used proper line tape, hence why it is so much sharper than the rest. The other side scallop, I purposefully made it all chopped like it is.
ah, its just my shitty painting of the size. I used a tempate to rough in the stars. Its the fact I didnt mask them off that caused the issues you note. I agree totally with you btw as well.

Thats just the 'southern cross', its an Australian thing. I have one on all my vehicles. It's just a reminder of home. Hence why the bike is 'bogan'. Also, these are all just tests to see how the leaf applies, and how easy it is to work with...
