do you still have the stator?

where is a good place to get parts to rebuild a 79 xs650 motor?

i have pics but they are on my phone and i am having problems with my phone, so i will take some with my camera and get them on here..

sorry, i still have it, i have title, it runs, just rebuilt carbs on it, needs tune up, think the charging system is bad, i rode it and it rode nice. jusst dont have time to do anything with it. i'll try to post some pics of it later..

i'm selling my xs650, dont have time to do anything with it, it has rebuilt carbs and new battery, clear title, i 'm asking 1300 obo.

where i can i get rebuild kits for my carbs?

whats the best way to test the stator and alternator? i took my alternator out i tested with a ohm meter, it showed 3.5 ohms, is that good? how do i check the stator to see if that is good?

i can take a wire and touch the power line to the inigtion switch and touch the yellow wire on headlight and it comes on, i leave it on for about a min and take it off and the headlight stays on and than i can switch the light from bright to dim they stay on until i switch the key off...i live...

I'm not getting any power to my headlight, any help or suggestion?

My fuse is good. Is there a way to check the saftey relay? Or is there a way I can bypass all this stuff and wire up a switch for my headlight?

i unhooked my safety relay and pluged it back it and now im not getting power anywhere.. i'm getting irrated with this..

i seem to be haveing battery problems, seems like i charge battery over night and turn my key on and it still low charge, blinkers dont work and my headlight still dont work..

well i think my battery is junk, it seems like its not holding a charge.

i have a fuse by the relay but i can't find any other fuses, unless i over looking them..
