Up for sale is my 1981 Yamaha XS650 Hard tail conversion. It runs strong, and has many new parts. I have not had as much time as I thought I would to ride the bike so its got to go. The bike does run, and you can hear it run in person. No test rides or funny stuff...
Neutral safety switch should be tied into the relay circuit for the starter. After your push button starter before the relay.
Is there any reason your running a capacitor and battery? I would also put a "Main" disconnect between the battery and fuse box, but that's just a personal preference...
This is actually what I am going to try first, but with the adjustable needles I have on the middle 3 position first. I have not had a chance as work is busy but will be doing this by the weekend for sure. Thanks again everyone!

Here's a rundown of what I've got
74 TX 650 motor
Pamco Ignition (original)
Dynatek Coil
NGK plugs...
Could be to lean. Pull the plugs and take a look and see what they look like. Did you exercise the slides in the carbs before you started to verify nothings gummed up or diaphragm's are torn?
Can you make a full throttle pass and then kill the ignition to take a look at the plugs?
From what I have dealt with and heard its a little varied if you order directly from PamcoPete. He's a one man show so things may take a little bit longer but know that you're supporting a good guy. I understand that we would love if things came over night but I would expect 3-5 days before it...
Thank you for this information. I have confirmed that the green wire is still going from 12VDC to 1VDC and upon inspection of the coil and removal from the bike I have noticed some small bulging and I believe that the center core has shorted open or let go from itself. I did not notice the bulge...
