    I like the pewter ones, but I should stick with stock. Just pick the best two and Im good with those. As far as the tank badges are concerned, they look fine for me, suitably weathered......     sorry no, the ones I need are oval for the tank, with the YAMAHA embedded in clear plastic, and the sidecover badges are XS650 painted metal... Thanks anyways... Al

    thanks for the compliments. Yes the clocks are original. Ive learned how to pull them apart but didnt need to as these were decent, not perfect. One day Ill do a full rebuild on a pair of instruments and replace these, but in the meanwhile these are more than adequate. Im afraid my 71 Triumph...
