So I just found this thread when replacing my gas tank gasket. Turns out the PO made the cap tamper proof, and where the 3 screws are it seems to be all soldered together. Do I need to buy a new gas cap? Also, would this be part of the reason my bike will only run on prime or with the choke on...

Pardon my thread jack, but do you think the o rings not allowing the jet to seat would cause many many headaches for me such as only being able to idle without the choke? I've read all the other posts over and over and it's never come up as a solution to an issue. Thanks

Hey just to add my .02, I got some aftermarket blinkers and they didn't work. Used Leo's advice and figure out it was just the flasher. Only thing I want to add is that the unit I found was actually numbered 552. I don't know if it makes a difference but I couldn't find anything when I looked...
