    I had some after firing issues. So i chamged and gapped my points and cleaned the carbs. No more after fire. Now my xs idles fine with choke off. But of the start line it starts sputtering until I get up to higher rpms. But if I engage the choke it clears up at the lower rpms, but then dies...

    Ah, I guess I wasn't descriptive enough. I didn't mean the pivot tube. There were these two sleeves that were made of some type of dense cloth like material that I had to burn out.

    I took apart my swing arm for powder coating I took out the plastic bushings and had to heat out a second bushing type cylinder thing with a torch. but now I have the brass upgrade bushings. is that's all that is needed? No second part?
