Thanks Pete! I bought it from a guy who had it in a barn in Crystal Lake, IL he was the second owner. I'm thinking it was a Canadian bike because of the brake lining warning light instead of oil pressure? Is there another way to tell?

I pulled and replaced the sump filter and added the MIkesXS paper filter upgrade on the discharge filter. However I now have a fairly large oil leak on the sump cover.(yes I scraped the gasket off the cover and block as best i could). Anyone ever used a touch of gasket sealant on the sump cover...

took her for her maiden voyage yesterday around the neighborhood. It was pretty successful. Still have a few issues though, front brake has zero modulation and locks up super easy (it was wet out but I almost rear ended a truck at a stop sign). Front brake pressure switch doesn't turn the brake...
got the rear and front wheels back on with some new tires. Spent like 2 days cleaning the 40 years of grime off them. The clear coat is starting to come off the front rim which was irritating but I decided to just leave it for now. Trying to get at least one test ride in before the snow starts!
